Brief Overview

In Depth Review

Bokura is a two player platforming puzzle game. The game requires you to communicate heavily with each other in order to get through the game. It's truly unlike any other game I've played before, and I thoroughly enjoyed playing through it with my girlfriend. She enjoyed it because while it was challenging, it wasn't that technically hard. My girlfriend didn't grow up playing video games, and so often platforming games can be tough for her with things like timing jumps correctly, or anything else that requires a lot of skill with a controller. This game, however, was pretty easy in that regard. She also enjoyed being able to figure out how to get through each area of the game, and guiding me through it.

I honestly don't have much more to say about this game other than I really enjoyed it. I think the

fact that you and the person you're playing with see completely different things is really interesting, and really does force you to play cooperatively.

Given how cheap the game is, I'd really recommend picking it up with a friend and giving it a try! My only complaint is that the game was too short, and I wanted more. I think that's better though than feeling like it was too long. As I write this, I see that another game called "Bokura Planet" is supposed to be released later this year that uses similar mechanics. I'm looking forward to trying that game out once it releases!
