I'm Still Here

I just wanted to make a post quick saying I'm still here. I know I always start to wonder where folks I usually see post have gone, and so wanted to just check in. Life unfortunately has been pretty busy, not leaving me much time or energy to post. But I wanted to get something out, so I figured I'd talk about what I'm up to, and some things coming up:

Happening Currently

A lot of work. God so much work. Between receiving large amounts of shipments we have to organize, to deploying equipment across the state it's been a lot of long, tiring days.

When not doing work, I've largely been playing Helldivers 2 with friends. I've been listening to the Thunder Saga from Epic the Musical on repeat for a while. Specifically Suffering and Thunder Bringer. I want to get around to listening to the full thing at some point.

I've also been trying to fit in studying for the CCNA exam, which has been slow going. I've been studying for it off and on for years now. It's a mix of a lot to digest and things I don't use day to day, so it's hard to both find the time and then make progress. I've also been trying to study Python with a website called futurecoder.

Coming Up

I really want to make a blog post about a video called "Algorithms are breaking how we think" by YouTuber Technology Connections because I agree with so much of it. I just haven't found the time to sit down, watch the video again, and organize my thoughts on everything. But it really sums up most of my concerns with the way the internet and tech are going.

The other big thing I'm excited for is next week there's the prerelease for Takir: Dragonstorm! It's a new Magic the Gathering set that's coming out. The only other prerelease I've gone to was the Bloomburrow one and it was a lot of fun! Last time though I got wicked sick the next day, I think due to dehydration. I didn't drink anything for the roughly 8 hours I was there, and then slept for 8 hours, so I think my body just was not happy with me. This time, I'm planning to bring plenty of water.
