Michelle was reading over my blog on Mat's Engagement, and got to the section about the Cabin, and sort of paused for a moment at the photos. She then said "Wow, I hadn't realized how pretty it was then".

We spoke about it for a bit, and basically because the morning had been so hectic, and we still had to get home and do a bunch of stuff there to prepare for work for the week, Michelle's mind had just been on "go go go", trying to clean up and leave the cabin as quickly as possible. She mentioned she had even felt slightly annoyed with me, for taking the time to take photos. But now, seeing them, she wishes she had spent more time in the moment enjoying the beauty of where we were.

I guess it was just a sort of nice reminder to me that like... yeah. We should try to slow down, and see the beauty in the present when we can.
