It's hard for me not to just feel like an old man when it comes to Ai. I hate Ai. I hate that it's being pushed into everything. I hate how many people seemingly don't care. I hate that it feels like soon most of Corporate America or Schooling will just be Ai's talking to Ai.
On the corporate side of things, Ai used to craft emails and then Ai used to summarize emails. I'm sure this could keep evolving until it's just Ai talking to Ai constantly.
In schooling, students using Ai to write essays, teachers using Ai to read/ grade essays.
Also concerns me looking further into the future, what happens as Ai advances? Do we end up with suddenly a large portion of the workforce that simply does not have any work to do? What then? To me that's when something like UBI would come into effect - too many people to have jobs for so yeah, pay people enough to survive. But in a country (United States) that already can't agree on something like Universal Healthcare, I doubt Universal Basic Income is going to do any better.
But, not enough people seem to care to do anything to stop Ai. But who knows. Maybe I'm just old now and hate anything new.
